Noboribetsu Onsen is the northernmost large scale Onsen resort in Japan. Itโs famous not only for its abundance hot springs, but also because it has nine different types of Onsen water! As of this trip, Iโve bathed in all 9! It took me 1 public bath and 3 hotels to accomplish this! The town is protected by great demons. Legend says they live in Hellโs Valley, which is the source for all the hot spring water in the town!
