Today I learned that I have a type 2 accessory navicular bone, it is an extra bone in the foot that's larger and triangular or heart-shaped, and connects to the navicular bone by a cartilage bridge. Looking into PRP before we talk about removing the bone with surgery.

The upper inside of my arch started to hurt after a long run at the end of August. I took some time off, but the pain never went away, so I figured it would be best to get an X-ray.
