Why does crypto not have more consumer apps? Because it currently does not solve many problems for consumers. Crypto has strong consumer product-market fit with speculative use cases. This is because it’s a) potential to make money quickly b) entertainment. The way to grow the number of consumers in crypto is increase the amount of entertainment in crypto apps. Consumers have unlimited demand for novel entertainment.

the hard part is that people are entertained even without crypto as backend. to most of them the blockchain is not a need to be entertained. centralised systems just work for them.
