Let's get a gigabrain discussion going

1/2 in Star Wars the use hyperspace to move from one point to the other in the galaxy (effectively circumventing the light speed travel time, they move faster than light in the realspace, they just use "shortcuts" in the hyperspace to jump from A to B). 🧵

2/2 in their galaxy there are the "unknown regions" were they don't know how to jump because those "shortcuts" have not been discovered yet. the same apply for other galaxies, they simply don't know how to use hyperspace to jump there.
