Apple will add its own Steam-like game shop to iOS The app will be integrated with a user's profile from Game Centre, and it will be possible to both buy games and view additional information on them. Judging by the description, the new shop will work similarly to Steam or PS Store. In one tab you can buy games from the App Store and Apple Arcade, in another - to see the selection of games from the editorial staff, in the third - tables of records, achievements and information about friends. Notifications about important game events and updates will be added (where else will you find out that Genshin has a new waifu). Among the potential features - integration of FaceTime and iMessage to communicate in the game app. Apple is also thinking about publishing an App Clips-based mini-game catalogue.
