I’m afraid, for worse

My biggest disappointment is the country is getting more and more unnecessary conservative. My home country has been on this journey for the last few decades, and it led to a disaster

Social media definitely helps but it is not the root cause. From my experience, ppl get more conservative when they’re inconvenienced/uncomfortable and start losing their preferred status quo

Conservative talking points do really well in the Social Media era.  The desire to boil complex situations down to one quick point leaves a ton of grey area ignored.  Statements like: “Hiring should be based on merit!” can get tons of support because they seem right.  But the devil is in the details.
