A propos de recent Merke events (aka Ted’s new job) - had this convo recently with my own boss out of all people - The most exciting career stories I’ve seen in all kinds of industries are usually the ones where a person got hired for a job that didn’t exist before them. In some cases, the position was created specifically for them, in some others, they were the first choice when something that strongly aligned with them finally came up. Heard a similar opinion from a career coach who advised to “interview” for non-existent jobs by networking, showing genuine interest and putting in the extra work without being attached to the outcome. I know a lot of folks here had a similar journey in Web3. In my experience, this can happen with literally anything, so I would highly suggest not limiting ourselves to crypto. Adequate pivoting is also crucial for fulfilling careers. *nobody’s gonna read this bc it’s not a meme*

Guess I’m nobody. I don’t traffic in memes anyway. Perhaps that’s why I’m near the bottom of the rewards every week.

It’s like when I interviewed for the job as your friend. The job didn’t exist
