Yeah, I guess there’s that aspect too, though I like to choose my stack like like an editor/OS - pick one that’s hackable then go all in etc… Ethereum feels like Linux where hackers are doing their own thing, whereas Solana seems to be more by the book if you know what I mean… (maybe I’m seeing it wrong)

Was thinking about Heaps vs Binary Trees where each node points to the parent… Given we now have an extra pointer per node, it’s going to hurt cache locality. I know - use XOR LinkedLists! … better check ChatGPT to see what is says about potential performance problems, especially with branch prediction 🤣
