Who here has tinnitus? I have a constant ringing in my ears (usually worse at night) thatโ€™s roughly in the 14khz range. No cure, nothing Iโ€™ve found to help that much with symptoms either. Only way to live with it is to learn to accept it. https://www.szynalski.com/tone-generator/

Always wonder how people distinguish this from the tone that normal healthy people hear. Like how does it interfere with your life?

What's the tone that normal healthy people hear? Isn't that just tinnitus?

I developed tinnitus in my adult life, prior to that I did not hear any tone in perfect silence. It's obvious when you get it anyway. Think of TV/movie where a grenade explodes and the main character hears nothing but dull sounds and a high pitched ringing. It's close to that.
