unsolicited is interesting here because i’m approaching it from i.e you don’t know me/the ai— but the ai has already studied you

I think AI should be a congruence layer; ie helping people practice what they preach.

That said, it doesn’t need to be an unsolllicited congruence layer. So if someone is happy deluding themselves, and you have no personal interest in investing the energy to help them win, let them be

what if they don't know the ai exists yet? how would you engage for the first time

guide subtly to begin with,m followed by confrontation if repeat offense

- asking the user if they're open to feedback
- sharing the feedback with them
- asking if they'd like help acting on it

if they say yes → be more proactive / confrontational to help them solve the problem

if they say no → accept their reply + try again after some time (a week / month)
