Once you get used to it it’s hard to go back. You probably have symbols on shift + number row, it’s basically the same idea but with a couple more layers! Not so intimidating 😁

Total cost for the build: ~$100 and have extra parts for 2-4 more full boards Aliexpress is so cheap it’s crazy, I ordered a soldering kit and multimeter that each cost literally $0.99

placed an order for parts! not for the quoted board, but for this one, the Swoop: - 36 keys - MX - wireless - fr4 sandwich case - got some keycaps (KLP Lamé) resin printed at the same time, excited to see how they turn out may try my hand at designing a case to 3d print as well
