When channels launched I didn’t even hesitate. Today I gotta have a really really strong reason to cough up that $25 fun hashtag fee. I wonder what will happen come December once it’s time to collect renewals…

I thought it justified by open a channel and don’t use it properly or at least give up easily. In my case it worked, I’m sure I would’ve open one and abandoned if nobody joined.

Once I heard ppl give honest feedback about how they've been using them as tags all this time, I couldn't see them the same way. Hopefully whatever new update Merkle is working on will address this issue
