FC culture used to be wildly optimistic, and lately everyone I’ve talked to has echoed this sentiment, even the earliest OGs I don’t know what the solution is but I don’t blame anyone who spends less time here or leaves altogether, the opportunity cost is real

i echo the sentiment of the opportunity cost and have recently reduced usage. mainly through my own circumstances and desired outcomes. early culture here was slow culture, as everything in tech, acceleration happened. "OGs" liked the slow stuff because we extracted the most value. but slow culture leads to EU outcomes. fast culture leads to US outcomes. We all know what happened there. Many things to be said but overall, my opinion, is that we are creatures of habit and early birds like their hold habit and always will struggle to adopt the next gen, including me.

There’s been some level of dec retention. I think it’s helped that there have been ample ways to get paid, but it’s a real threat when those opportunities are springing up more outside of FC walls Retention is all you need
