monorepos - pnpm for content addressable packages to decrease size of shared dependencies and consistent versioning standalone web app - yarn would love to check out bun in the near future

out of curiosity what’s the rationale for yarn over pnpm?

I prefer using yarn over pnpm in single app projects because the default hoisting behavior can be annoying with dependencies (like prettier) and on initial install there's not much of a difference. Definitely prefer pnpm in monorepos with shared dependencies w/local packages in workspace, shared tw config, ESLint rules
