Shopify does, we had Hack days during February and coming again in July. Several products have come out of those events.

I’ve run a few hackathons, generally don’t think they’re roi positive.

Huddle01 team went to many hackathons to have a forcing function to ship brave solutions. They have been very satisfied with the outcomes.

Reddit has twice a year! Only worth it if there are clear expectations and ideas

Typically almost nothing comes out of it. Idk why they do it other than a PR stunt lol
