There are two main changes with allowances in Season 3: 1. Allowances are now ~0.357x from last month for the same behavior. This isnโ€™t surprising since Season 2โ€™s allowance was itself already 0.7x the rewards from Season 1. This is good since it makes tipping consistent with โ€œminingโ€ curves.

2. Less active monthly casters are penalized slightly (so the algo considers total casts over the last 1 month when doing some maths for number of casts a user has). As we get further in the month, this will slightly start adjusting again. And will likely reset again in Season 4.

Interesting, thanks for the heads up! Do you happen to know how I can increase my daily allowance? Today was my first day getting one (which I'm stoke for), and it's at 163 total. I'm pretty active in replying to others, but I guess I don't get the most engagement on my own casts? Is that what I need?
