There are two main changes with allowances in Season 3: 
1. Allowances are now ~0.357x from last month for the same behavior. 

This isn’t surprising since Season 2’s allowance was itself already 0.7x the rewards from Season 1. 

This is good since it makes tipping consistent with “mining” curves.

Interesting, thanks for the heads up! Do you happen to know how I can increase my daily allowance? Today was my first day getting one (which I'm stoke for), and it's at 163 total. I'm pretty active in replying to others, but I guess I don't get the most engagement on my own casts? Is that what I need?

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'm in a bunch of different channels, so hopefully I can start to get more engagement. Just want to help pay it forward since getting tips is what helped me get an allowance in the first place, and want to help others get the same

Engagement (ie likes and recasts) from unique users is what you want. So would advice consistently casting across multiple channels so you get a diverse audience
