On Sunday, I lost a gel during my long run. This morning, while on an easy run, I found the missing gel... it was smashed about a quarter mile from my home. Which gels do you prefer for your long runs? I'm still experimenting but usually rely on GU.

i’ve never trained with or used gel on long runs. just water works for me.

I was doing the same for years, but once my long runs started to get over three hours, I needed to start fueling during my runs because I was having a hard time regulating body heat later in the day and would be completely depleted the day after.

are you getting enough potassium? I eat lots of bananas and run really early to avoid the heat.
