Agree but liquidity events aren’t guaranteed. AND sure maybe you get ~$500k-1m in tokens over a 3/4 years but with a docked salary and less resources. At that rate the salary at a 300k/year is safe, stable, should have excess time and money, and has more balance than a start up. Idk think I’ll stay

Also depends on age.  If you're under 30, single or no kids you can take the risk.

Totally agree that this is an industry that makes little sense for anyone with major life responsibilities outside of work. Unless they got a bag already.

The people that are getting hired prob didnt learn all their skills in college.
