Agree but liquidity events aren’t guaranteed. AND sure maybe you get ~$500k-1m in tokens over a 3/4 years but with a docked salary and less resources. At that rate the salary at a 300k/year is safe, stable, should have excess time and money, and has more balance than a start up. Idk think I’ll stay

equity will turn a great job into life changing generational money.  With that life changing money you can have more of an impact on companies you want to see funded

I feel like that type of person would not make for a good hire in a startup anyways.

If you prefer cushy and comfortable over groundbreaking and fast paced your probably not the right candidate too look for in the first place.
