quick poll. both graphs convey the same information. which one do you think is more informative:

Top graph is known to be bad info viz. The area of the thing is dependent on (arbitrary) ordering of the categories.

You can easily lie with that sort of visualization.

Simple bar graphs (with added useful priors like averages across populations, etc) are more informative and unbiased.
