Currently designing a DAO platform as an alternative to Discord. During my UX research, the one pain point users frequently experienced was the lack of organization on Discord for notifications and channels. Struggling to come up with a way to improve this organization short of groups/folders for multiple DAOs. How would you improve channel/DAO organization on Discord if given the chance to redesign it?

An AI assistant that keeps tabs on your schedule, availability, current focus, priority of notifications, etc. It will beep you in ways it knows you want to be beeped for things you need to be beeped on. It'll provide regular "digests" of notifications you do not want to be beeped for on whatever schedule you dictate. There's just way too much going on in today's world for "push" notifications to work anymore. Notifications need to be user controlled. Without AI, that's a ton of always going around and setting each specific thing. Few have patience for that anymore. I don't think notifications will be fixed, I think they'll be replaced. Until then, everything defaults to "off" and you manually set how your want to be notified. You could have notification profiles or templates so you can easily pick "flash a summary overlay as they come in" or "include in my daily/weekly digest". FYI digests are the way.
