One dude is simultaneously spearheading efforts to:

1. Prevent space flight from being captured by crony capitalism 
2. Electrify individual mobility 
3. Keep internet speech censorship-resistant until crypto gets strong enough

any data points on how things made progress on 3. ?

i think elon is goat at business and tech but i'm not sure about having him as a political/cultural leader. that's one mistake we humans often make is transferring the legitimacy accrued by an individual through one discipline to all other disciplines. being good at this doesn't make you good at that

It’s just my hypothesis that we’re in a liminal phase between web2 and web3 systems, and Elon owning one of the legacy web2 systems is buying us time
