looking at different web3 social apps right now its easy to understand that most usage is still driven by speculation/expected financial upside some apps that build truly novel experiences get little traction because they propose little price action but whenever we're past this phase, chances are that the trend will be reversed. at that point there'll be no difference between 'web3 social' and all other social apps. and providing superior content and novel experiences will be the only way

if an app can have all the regular social stuff PLUS the financial stuff, why would the one with only regular stuff take over in your view?

the interesting thing is that farcaster can be both due to the new channel management. I can be a degen shitposter in one channel and systemic architect in a second and sharing vulnerably about my childhood trauma in a third.
