New Essay: New Opportunities in the Farcaster Stack tldr: "When you're offered a seat on the rocket ship, don't ask what seat." Farcaster is a rocket ship. Starting a company in the ecosystem is, in effect, building your own seat. Lots of new opportunity! https://variant.fund/articles/farcaster-stack-opportunities/

What is especially cool about the process for this essay is that I used @bountycaster to get feedback from the community (cc @brianjckim @six @jihad @dylsteck.eth @markfishman @omer), which made the ideas a lot stronger. https://warpcast.com/alanadlevin/0x756f77bb

Nice writeup! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ I like this a lot more than the one about total financialization of the social layer/socmedia - which I found somewhat flawed and believe friendtech showed this extreme focus on financialization is usually short-lived and at best a niche app :) 1000 $degen

Nice write-up. Small correction...I believe "When you're offered a seat on the rocket ship, don't ask what seat." is from Eric Schmidt. He famously told that to Sheryl Sandberg when she was asking about what her role would be at Google.
