i often come across people who say “but elon musk’s parents owned emeralds mine.” i just question whether any of these people could have made it to where he stands now if they had rich parents. better to learn than to think ‘eh, he had rich parents.’ as gates once said, ‘life is unfair, get used to it.’ i don’t know or care about his upbringing in details, but i admire his dreams and persistence. Like; stand where he does financially and successfully? Or stand where he does politically and mentally? Cuz I feel I'd answer the question differently depending on from what aspect is being referred. Also, he had some interesting means at which he took over PayPal/Tesla which can't be ignored LoL
