I find Polymarket interesting but what bothers me is collective delision that “predition markets” are not effectively the same as gambling/betting which can be extremely problematic. Gambling is illegal for minors (somewhere for adults as well). It can cause severe addiction and ruin lives. It can be exploited and manipulated etc. Yet crypto people convinced themselves that prediction market is some devine version of betting that makes the world a better place.

I still find a lot of same vibes as memo.cash back in the day. Some quality discussion but predominantly crypto topics, especially posts about the platform itself.

What if this becomes a trend? For example people could start using blobs to store NFT data and than we can have huge spikes in blob fees again.
