I find Polymarket interesting but what bothers me is collective delision that “predition markets” are not effectively the same as gambling/betting which can be extremely problematic. 

Gambling is illegal for minors (somewhere for adults as well). It can cause severe addiction and ruin lives. It can be exploited and manipulated etc.

Yet crypto people convinced themselves that prediction market is some devine version of betting that makes the world a better place.
