- tracks times
- accurately tracks routes & distances
- good apps/UXs that automate performance reviews & analyses

i was fine with "just a sports watch with a timer" for decades, only until this recent generation of smart watches

i'm personally using and satisfied with a garmin forerunner 245

was recently told the more expensive models have better gps, which seems surprising as i thought underlying tech would be the same

regardless, significant improvements over gps watches from even 5 years ago (accuracy, battery life, ui/ux, etc) 😆

i see pros using/shilling coros but they all seem to be sponsored 😆

most normies i see have a garmin or an apple watch
