Our company, 100% remote, decided to shift from Slack to Discord for communication/collaboration Good decision, bad decision, no difference?

We've been on Discord for over a year now. Two things that I miss the most: 1. Being able to DM colleagues while knowing I won't disturb them in off hours. 2. Being able to trust an incoming DM.

^ These might actually be solvable with work/personal account separation βΒ I believe discord apps support multiple accounts now. Convinience runner-ups: 3. Being able to set a message reminder (great for grouping messages by topic to be dealt with in bulk at a later time). 4. Being able to schedule a messages.

I think it's not as good as Slack for internal team communication, but yes βΒ especially if need to understand Discord vibes better βΒ it's fine.
