one thing that always strikes me after visiting my parents, i really don't like HDTV everything appears like it's been made using a camcorder and motion/movements look very CGI, or as the kids today would say, AI generated just me?

I only buy 1080p lower resolution TVs for this reason. Our current one is a crappy Fire TV for this reason.
