This was one of the more important frameworks he taught us.

is this/he saying that awful ideas no matter how brilliant the execution can't succeed? so at minimum the idea must be so-so?

Actually his first point was that ideas in a vacuum are worthless. He was pushing back against that idea that a startup founder should get equity for an “Idea”.

But I think that’s a fair secondary point.

100% on no equity just for being the "idea guy" with no work or financing

noice, he's definitely a very smart guy

he was at true global ventures which does a bunch of web3 investing (incl. animoca brands, the sandbox, etc.), but looks like he's no longer there as of a couple years back
