saw so many bad (and good) movies in theaters as a kid simply because it was a cheap thing to do when you had nothing else going on

It’s outrageously expensive and also I don’t think there’s been a movie actually worth watching on the big screen released in the past decade 

LOTR might have been the last 

The last movie I saw in theatres was The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes in 2023 because my sister wanted to go 💀
