pov : youâre a professional athlete with adhd before each quarter you must fill your whereabouts which is the addresses of where you will be training and competing on a slow glitchy website every night you must update the website with where youâre sleeping including room number if youâre in a hotel if you forget to do it 3 times in a year you get a 2-4 year ban from sport (it makes me laugh how the reminders go from âdear athleteđ„° thanksâ to a straight up threat)

Woah this is so cool! Annoying though necessary đ€Ł This reminds me of old school kpop idol trainee gps tracking! For them it was less about drug testing and more monitoring whereabouts. I had trainee friends whoâd talk about hiding their phones at home so they canât be tracked but theyâd get calls and texts from their managers and have to respond within a certain amount of time

Thereâd be other idol trainees that live with them or if theyâd live at home the managers would have contact information for the parents, etc or just drive over to check in on them. Koreaâs fairly small physically and I feel like at least back then all the trainees were concentrated in specific areas with dance studios, etc. Itâs also common for Korean study abroad students to have no choice but to download apps that will alert their teachers or supervising program managers if they leave a specific geographic region bound to the study abroad schoolâs campus! So technically you arenât allowed to explore outside of the campus even if itâs just to like go to a museum or go grocery shopping
