after speaking to my coach, we've decided it's best for me to return home from the training camp - so ill be flying back to the uk tomorrow morning

it's been pretty difficult to train to the best of my ability while worrying about my grandad back home 😭

sigh i'm pretty disappointed that i didn't manage to have the camp experience i would've wanted

but i know i will be much happier being closer to my family!

I'm sorry you've had to make this decision... but I'm pleased you'll be happier.  The amount of data we can gather on athletic performance is incredible... but it's still so hard to measure the impact of stress, anxiety, mental health, etc on performance... but also this seems like a good life decision as well.
