as much as i hate being drug tested it’s needed to prevent people who have broken the rules the 2x european champion and 3x world medallist in triple jump has just been charged with using testosterone 😐 this is the third jumper i have competed with who has taken performance enhancing drugs sigh

the third you know of.. PEDs are widespread in competitive sport. I know plenty who competed on an international level that took PEDs and never were tested positive.

true! i find it so sad especially when i have missed out on the olympics by ONE place so when i find out another athlete doped it breaks my heart a little bit more the dopers are always a few steps ahead of the anti doping science hopefully the technology gets better

Sad to hear that. I don’t see anti doping testing to ever catch up with doping science. The truth is everyone benefits from the way the current setup is. Enough testing to keep the illusion of clean sports but also enough doping to keep breaking records. Perfect for the IOC, just bad for the honest athletes (of which I reckon there will be fewer and fewer)
