hey new Farcasters! Pay attention, here's some info for ya

1) You have a custodial wallet created for your account. Your seed phrase is in your profile settings. Back that shit up like you do other seedphrases.

2) If you have an ens, consider switching that wallet as your default here...mints etc will get sent to it

4) You will see WARPS and think wtf are Warps? These are a centralized "in-app" currency that can be used to purchase storage for your account, tip to other folks, purchase channels, or even mint NFTs on Zora (that are dropped into your connected wallet).

5) Farcaster is the Protocol, Warpcast is the client. There are many clients, some Twitter-like, some Reddit-like, but also others

6) Group chats are newish, Video is very new. The team is awesome and trying to build at a pace that they can sustain. That means not everything is going to be 100% perfect for YOU atm

7) The community is full of web 3 builders, and those passionate in decentralization. Reputation matters more here, the vibes are MUCH nicer here, please remember that this is not a billionaire-owned app when you are wondering why something currently is lacking for you

8) You are not penalized for posting URLs or different types of content in efforts to appeal to an advertising app masquerading as a social media app. Post what you like. Be as present or as detached as you like. Be yourself. Invent a persona. It's up to you.

9) Have fun and nice of you to join us. It's better here.

3) You will see these "frames" things kicking around that you can interact with. Some of them have an API that will trigger an airdrop to your wallet - have no fear, these do not directly interact with your wallet, though likely will be able to in the future, so feel free to PLAY

This is a nice summary! One note: Warpcast wallets are not custodial. Your seed phrase is stored with a passkey on your mobile device.

So far Frames do not directly interact with wallet...they can only result in something being airdropped to it at the most. But this will I'm sure be expanded upon.  I have my main ens connected. Just keep calm, don't make rash lizard-brained clicks without thinking :)

Which is directly interact with a contract at the moment (safety first), but then anyone can expose pretty much anything via an API through a frame. We’ve got DOOM frames, chess games, cookie stores that deliver actual goddamn cookies. It’s the whole internet at your fingers

I believe it is bound to the custodial wallet, but that is something I am only assuming

how do you transfer your fid/farcaster account to another wallet? Actually fully transfer it
