any sort of "points" or currency I accrue from a platform should be mine and the platform can't later take them away

I buy kindle books all the time, but do I actually own the book, or just the right to download it from amazon?

Casts can be nerfed/hidden from Warpcast feed but they still exist on the protocol.

What merkle can't take away is my FID or my ability to post a message to the protocol

While I appreciate the take, aren’t our casts kind beholden to the price of storage units that we’re paying for and can be nerfed by Merkle?

I agree, they are but looks like the platform doesn’t want me, only text based casts.

It’s more scalable to get people digital property rights than physical property rights because of global authoritarian regimes. 

It’s the starting point for full sovereignty for humans.

I don’t understand this. How does farcaster facilitate digital ownership in a way that would feel meaningful to any curious person coming in off the street?
