Every time I read Balaji and NYT, I can't help but think of the following image.
It is so simple at first glance, but it also has a deep meaning. Sometimes I try to look at events through this 'lens'.

What might be interesting is also to think about who occupies the middle of this framework. How do they balance between these different sources of cultural and socio-economic capital and whether there is anything to learn from these attempts to deal with the inevitable tensions?
