Looking at 2025 US health insurance plans while outside the US. ⚕️🇺🇸

If I don't use a VPN I'm blocked. If I use a VPN I get a plain text site. Fortunately I'm able to convert the broken plain text to a readable format with Firefox reader view.

If my health insurance application doesn't go through with the broken plain text site I'll figure out how to set up a virtual machine in the US using Digital Ocean and see if the CareFirst site can be accessed normally.

yesterday i realized that i could rent a vps in europe to use as a personal vpn via tailscale for cheaper than most paid shared vpn plans

might be the nerdiest thing i've done to date tbh

Greg also setup is own VPN but in Europe, so might have some insight on how to do this for the US
