I'm shocked more people in decentralized ecosystems aren't using Firefox as their main browser. Firefox's 25 year history of open source, security, and privacy are well aligned with crypto native builders and users. 🦊

Mozilla lost their way when they pushed Brendan Eich out. They haven't had an interesting new project since then and have gone from being an early supporter of Bitcoin (2014) to banning it (2022).

I do agree they should support crypto as the values seem closely aligned. Mozilla has come out with a handful of very useful privacy and security apps and services the past few years including identity theft monitoring, open source VPN, etc.

Those are useful services for consumers, but is there any new technology or ideas there? MozillaVPN is a wrapper for WireGuard which is a 10? year old project and a lot less interesting than, say, Orchid.
