Can any travelers with experience in extended stays in Thailand and that have a US passport provide feedback if this is a viable path for spending ~120 days in Thailand? Much appreciated! πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

I'm looking to spend 2 months in Chiang Mai and 2 months in Bangkok. 1. Apply for tourist e-visa online ahead of travel: +60 days 2. Apply for extension in Chiang Mai directly or w/ visa agent service: +30 days 3. Fly out of Thailand and return: +30 days

I'm also thinking I could potentially convert to another visa type, "Business Visit" if I am able to purchase a @devcon conference ticket. Thanks to Pieter Levels I learned that Thailand may offer a digital nomad e-visa as early as end of year too. https://x.com/levelsio/status/1795588308296470624
