I woke up this morning in Ping River and quickly realized that if I didn't leave my hotel this afternoon I might be stuck for a few days without electricity.

The front entrance was chest high water making it too hard to get out with personal items intact. Studying the surroundings paid off and I led all who were willing out the back alley using my shortcut discovered yesterday.

I really knew it was time to go when I saw Alt_Pingriver coworking evacuating. The good news is everything should drain out in a few days according to local news reports and everything should be back and running.

I 1st thought about washing clothes in the shower after escaping the /chiangmai floods in Oct and cleaning my things in the shower.

I did it today with a natural died cotton shirt that requires handwashing the 1st cycle. I'd consider this for quick weekend trips with just a backpack.

It was quick and easy
- Use natural shampoo|body wash
- Scrub with your hands

Thank you!! I'm a big denim fan as well (Typical American). I have a Levi's shirt I've been wearing since 2013 and it now has a hole in the elbow. Uniqlo has been my go to for jeans the last 10+ years because of the great fit and free tailored length in the US.

This reminds me I need to decide if I'll do my Uniqlo shopping in /bangkok or make a stop in /japan. 

I haven't noticed a smell?! I need to go home and sniff the shirt now.

Love the denim clothes, and you look good on it! I don't have many clothes in general but I have many denim shirts and jeans haha. Also do you like the smell of it? 
When I go back in Japan, I'm going to buy the indigo blue jeans.
