I've gotten into beets in Bangkok and freaked myself out for a few hours because I didn't know it changes the color of your pee. Don't worry, all is back to normal now.

Beets must taste better here like most produce because I don't remember enjoying them before. They're light and refreshing.

Thanks! I'm good now that I know what the reason was. I haven't seen any yellow beets in Thailand yet but I'm down to try them.

You can try yellow colored beets in case the red pee is disconcerting
