Honestly, the transactional focus of this app depresses me endlessly. I don’t even want to connect a wallet, or be part of a ‘crypto-community’. It feels cut-off, gamified, worse than Twitter, in a sense, almost perverse.

Ha, yes, the Degen thing is completely beyond me! Social media is stressful enough as it is without a rewarding system, right? Also, for me, I am not at all interested in niche-social medias as alternatives for X and such: it feels like facilitating fenced off bubbles while opening up seems much better.

Yeah, well, selling NFTs for € 1 is also like tipping. Are there any collectors here? Or are artists just tipping each other? I understand it’s an attempt at rewarding social media engagement beyond data-selling companies, but the ‘sales’ part is exactly the issue of ‘social’ media. ‘Sales media’ it is.

Well... we are talking about much higher amounts than selling NFTs even for €10. I'm not selling anything here. I'm doing exactly the same thing I was doing on X. Posting art-related content. The difference is, that I enjoy the lack of algo, dramas, and bullshit hot takes by influencoors + I earn money.
