been on wc 2 months thanks to @undefined. it’s been challenging getting accustomed to the culture here, but i’ve been enjoying it nevertheless. i love the community, support, and build culture.

as i’ve been tinkering with frames, actions, products built on farcaster, it has motivated me even more to think of ways to make something people want (h/t yc/@jessepollak) on/off chain.

but today i found out i’m already labeled as spam.. wtf :(

it’s pretty demoralizing as i invest time to learn, grow, and build within this space.

we need more “interesting content” on wc? the based, builder mentality i’ve seen from devs/creators alike is the only reason i’m here. (eg sharing progress on projects like yt automation scripts (@fun), animation shorts (@sloppy), mini apps (@matthewfox), etc.) but i can’t interact with any of them. or vv.

@dwr.eth @v how does keeping this false positive issue help with the culture/interesting content you want in wc? what is that vision?

Yeah… been quality posting art for a very long time and it gets less engagement than a meme, I guess I’ll just keep pushing

I legit brought in a new account that got into spam too

I have so much fam in the spam, it's really tiring

With their accounts being small accounts too makes it worse

This spam list stuff has affected the total amount of active accounts 
It’s disappointing when they refuse to listen to our opinions concerning this 
The whole quote casting won’t help
Back to back complaints 
But zero concern from founder 
It’s disappointing and not feeling like a fun place for those on the spam list
How would he feel if he was casting and nobody was seeing it?

I saw a lot of people was/is labeled. 
I was labeled too (and I’m still), but for now I just don’t think about it too much and just try to vibe with my follows (read frens)

It all started after active badge was removed, from that time I saw lot of changes and downgrade with interactions.

I actually think the “spam” is the only downside of being on this app. I’ve been on the other side of the spam wall and I must say it’s a very terrible experience, you are totally invisible to potential people of similar interest, it’s hard enough for just a casual user like me now think how difficult it will be for a creator… quote casted ❤️

Love to see you are talking about this, people like you should see the issue, this is serious now

I think a lot of things need changing in this spamming algorithm of a rhing

The following is copy-paste, but it is a sincere wish for those of us who are creative.Publishing our work and spam labels should never be next to each other.If you want quality content, please give human rights to those who are doing real activities, not only creators.
