i used to think so and paid myself $30K/y when i was doing my first startup in SF. 

instead, minimizing the head count, assembling a tiny yet mighty avengers team, and moving fast while not starving out - that's the sustainable way.

haha fr. it's a ~+ if the product is truly killing it, but if trying to make up for the distance away from pmf with "low burn" it rarely makes the pitch more compelling
