i have so far seen no legit investor who's impressed by low-burn rate alone. i used to think so and paid myself $30K/y when i was doing my first startup in SF. instead, minimizing the head count, assembling a tiny yet mighty avengers team, and moving fast while not starving out - that's the sustainable way.

Yeah itβs hard to get that across from the investor seat but frankly Iβm more likely to tell a team to burn MORE money monthly and GET somewhere than spending LESS money than everyone else to exist longer but get NOWHERE
