10y ago, i quit my job and flew over to SF to jump into startups fulltime. been through so much shit ever since, but my true life started only once i took the feared leap of faith. 10y later, i'm nowhere near where i wanna be, but i've come to know my inner character so much better. living with no regrets.

So do you consider startups to be a career field? I know there are folks that have dozens of companies, but I guess I always thought of a startup as a single thing with goal of it being your job. Def interesting way to think of it.

That’s great. I took a similar jump 19 years ago. I get disappointed that I haven’t achieved all the grand ambitions I had when I started out. But then I realize like you that really the struggle is what challenges me, and really, isn’t that what it’s about?
