Clara and the sun was amazing. Also Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa. 

Ted Chiangs short stories as well, especially Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom. 

I'm a big Carlos Ruiz Zafon fan, and at times, some of the dark Kafka vibes definitely shine through in his novels, too.  

I think deep down, many of the fiction writers are part philosophers anyway.
