The attention economy is a battle for our limited human RAM. Advertising (20th century) and attention (21st cent) were wars fought for our RAM As machines become further extensions of ourselves, we're going to see our RAM increase / demand for our RAM to increase further. Prob more levels too (L1, L2 cache etc)

Hopefully we'll be able to use our RAM more efficiently. Seems web2 platforms have been competing not just for our RAM but also for.. whatever is the computer equivalent of the limbic system.
